We are celebrating 12 years of The Glass Slipper Project. Since 2011, Glass Slipper has provided prom gowns for free to hundreds of teens in Blair County each year. Keep an eye on our social media page for more updates regarding The Glass Slipper Project in 2024. The program is open to Cambria/Somerset teens this year.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
We greatly appreciate Reliance Bank for supporting The Glass Slipper Project for the second year in a row as our sponsor.
Thank you for continuing to make prom teens' dreams come true. Visit us on one of our shop days and you may run into some of their friendly staff members who will be volunteering with us again. In addition, we are inviting students from Cambria and Somerset counties to join us this year in Blair County to search for the perfect outfit, at no charge.
Please see the shop dates in the accompanying graphic.
HOW TO HELP
We are always accepting new or gently used dress donations; however, we are in need of more formal shoes and jewelry as these are some of the first items that are depleted. Donations can be dropped off at our Blair office: 208, Hollidaysburg Plaza, Duncansville, PA 16635; or our Johnstown office: 422 Main Street, Suite 203, Johnstown PA 15901.
NEW THIS YEAR
We partnered with Blair County Night to Shine this year. We already had two shop dates for event attendees. Night to Shine is on Friday, Feb. 9. For more details on this event, visit www.blaircountynighttoshine.com. Photos from Night to Shine Shopping dates are below.
